Taylor Pass Mānuka Honey Wins Great Taste Awards

There’s a lot to love about our mānuka honey, and the expert judges from the Guild of Fine foods agree. Taylor Pass Monofloral Mānuka UMF 5+ Honey is the only New Zealand honey to win Great Taste Award 2022’s highest accolade of 3 stars! 

The Guild of Fine Foods says: “3 stars = Exquisite” and only awarded to “Extraordinarily tasty foods… Don’t leave the shop without buying it!”

Judges described it as “a beautiful honey that melts in the mouth leaving a clean, fresh taste. Fantastic” and “a marvel!”

Taylor Pass Mānuka Multifloral Honey was also awarded 1 star for “fantastic flavour”! and judges “loved the multifloral notes” and “fresh warm sweet flavour”.

Great Taste is the world's largest and most trusted food and drink accreditation scheme. It’s a blind test with rigorous judging from a panel of over 500 independent foodie experts - chefs, buyers, food writers and retailers. In their words, “The product alone has to be outstanding in order to wow the judges. Packaging can be as jazzy and eye catching as you want, but the little bit of food that it contains has to be able to hold its own when it counts.”
