COVID19 Update March 2020

Dear customers, suppliers and honey lovers,

The world feels a little smaller at the moment, as we are all united in concern over the COVID19 pandemic.

Situations like this remind us all of what is most important….people, ours and yours.

It’s a good reminder to be kind and to look out for those around us.

The New Zealand Ministry of Health has published a guideline which we are following.

We wanted to reach out, to let you know that we are taking all the extra steps necessary to keep our own team safe, and also to keep supplying you consistently.

Being in the food industry, we already have extremely high food safety and cleanliness standards, but we have nevertheless added extra sanitation procedures.

To minimise risk, we are also reducing interaction between staff and made arrangements for staff to be able to work from home, especially those with underlying medical conditions.

We have cancelled all international travel and will continue to monitor the situation very closely, as you all will be.

The demand for premium New Zealand honey, and in particular manuka honey, has increased substantially and we are working hard to keep supplying you as quickly as you are used to.

Our team is processing and shipping our website orders as usual and our factory is fully operational, but we appreciate your understanding during this evolving situation.

Please do not hesitate to reach out to us if you have any questions.

Our thoughts go out to anyone affected by COVID19 in this challenging time

Bee Well, Bee Kind, Bee Safe,

From Richard Green, CEO and the team at Taylor Pass Honey
