Taylor Pass Honey Dark Hot Chocolate with Warming Spices
This decadent drink uses dark chocolate with Mexican-inspired spices and rich Mānuka-blend honey to create a liquid dessert that is perfect for chilly night.

Ingredients
- 3 cups plant-based milk (we like a 50/50 blend of coconut and almond milk)
- Generous pinch ground nutmeg
- Pinch cayenne pepper
- ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 100g roughly chopped dark chocolate
- 1 teaspoon Taylor Pass Mānuka Blend honey per mug
Instructions
- Place the milk and spices in a small saucepan and heat slowly until very hot but not boiling.
- Add the chopped chocolate and whisk until smooth. Use a stick blender to create a frothy texture.
- Serve each hot chocolate with a teaspoon of honey on top.
- Swirl into the warm drink and enjoy.
